Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data ARCALIS collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We ask for as little as possible: only what we need to answer you.

Who we are

ARCALIS, Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq, operates this website and decides how the data described here is processed. You can reach us at hello@arcalis.io.

What we collect

When you contact us. Our contact form asks for:

  • your name and email address, so we can identify and answer you;
  • your company, phone number, and preferred way of being contacted, if you provide them;
  • the type of request and the message you write.

When you visit. Our server records the usual technical data for each request — IP address, date and time, the page requested, referring page, and browser identification. This is what a web server needs to deliver a page and to stay secure and stable.

In your browser. We store your light or dark theme preference locally on your device. It never reaches our server, and it is not a tracking cookie.

Why we use it

Contact data is used to respond to your enquiry and, where it leads to one, to prepare and carry out an engagement. Technical data is used to operate the site securely, to detect and limit abuse such as spam and automated attacks, and to fix errors. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not profile you, and we do not sell it.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the service providers we need to run this website: the hosting provider that operates our server, and the email provider that delivers and stores our correspondence. They act on our instructions. We also disclose data where a competent authority requires it under applicable law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our mailbox for as long as the matter is live and afterwards for as long as we may need them to document a business relationship. Server logs are kept only briefly for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymised. When data is no longer needed for any of these purposes, we delete it.

How we protect it

This site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. Access to enquiries is limited to the people at ARCALIS who work on them. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your data safe.

Analytics

If website statistics are enabled, we use a cookieless analytics service that measures page views in aggregate without cookies, without cross-site tracking, and without building a profile of you. No analytics service is active unless it is named here.

Your choices

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — write to hello@arcalis.io and we will respond within a reasonable time. You are never obliged to use the contact form; the email address and phone number in our legal notice reach us just as well.

Children

This website addresses businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18.

Our pages link to other websites, including our social media profiles. Once you follow such a link, the operator of that site decides what happens to your data, under their own policy — not this one.

Scope and changes

This website is intended for users in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq (see our legal notice). We update this policy whenever the services behind the site change; the current version always applies.
